Computer Virus : Computer virus can be defined as a malware programme which when executed, replicates itself by inserting copies of itself into other computer programs , data files or boot sector of hard drive. When this replication succeeds, it infects programs and files, alter the way the computer is working or stops it completely.

Computer viruses are programmed to harm computers by damaging programs, deleting files or reformatting hard drive. Others replicate and flood a network with traffic, making it impossible to perform internet activity. Even less harmful computer viruses can also interrupt system’s performances and speed, sapping computer memory and frequent computer crashes.
