I am a student pursuing an undergraduate course. Moreover, I live away from home. There are a lot of expenses that need to be considered. So, there is not much pocket money left to shop expensive stuff. I, obviously do not earn much money by myself. It accounts to only how much ever is deposited from back home.

In such a situation, first of all, shopping online has been very useful to save cash. After demonetization, it makes sense to shop online and pay by card. One effective way to save money while shopping online is by using discount coupons. Like You can use Ebay offers, Flipkart offers while you are going to shop from flipkart or ebay. I have been using this method for quite a while. It has been almost two or three years. It has worked just fine. Coupons are generally provided by e-commerce companies which have just started. Discount coupons online are almost similar to printed coupons. Promo codes are also similar. However, just like printed coupons, online coupons also have certain limitations or restrictions. For instance, shop for 2000 rupees and get an item for free.

The only difference is that instead of handing over the printed coupon to the retailer, you simply enter the promo code. The coupon is simply digitalized. At times, the retailer might provide you free shipping, thereby reducing the cost.
